Brooks Corner
Hi, welcome to Brooks Corner
Somewhere to the east of the great ocean, west of the cities, north of the desert, south of the great forest, lies a small village that goes by the name of Brooks Corner, and it has more significance than you may think… Because there lies the elven castle, where the king and queen live. There, together with their coworkers, they care for the elven world. But why choose such a small village and why didn’t they build their castle in one of the larger cities? Well, the king and queen prefer a quieter life in the village, and it really did have charm.Somewhere to the east of the great ocean, west of the cities, north of the desert, south of the great forest, lies a small village that goes by the name of Brooks Corner, and it has more significance than you may think… Because there lies the elven castle, where the king and queen live. The duck pond
Every elven settlement has some kind of water element, with a walkway leading into the water, where you can go and feed the ducks or simply sit and chat with your friends (while feeding the ducks!).
The Castle
A big and higgledy-piggledy-looking building with many colorful rooms for the coworkers, the cooks, the servants, the guest rooms, etc. It looms over the village in a friendly way, where the king and queen work away to make sure the elven land stays safe and well.
Post Office
The post office is a key element of the castle; here the pigeons work for a daily wage of wheat, corn, rice, and occasionally barley. The way it works is that the pigeons ring the bell on the door of the office when they have letters, and the messenger takes the post before giving the pigeon another task. At the end of the day, the day pigeons get replaced by the night shift pigeons and get their wage.
The Suite
Here the king and queen reside when they are sleepy-eyed. All the furniture is made of the finest oak, and it is by far the most beautiful room of the castle, with its big windows and beautiful balcony.
Mayor's house
Here the mayor lives. If technically the king and queen rule the whole elven land, you might be wondering, why would you need a mayor, especially if the king and queen live in the village itself? It is still needed, as there are often little complaints or laws that need doing, and that is where the mayor comes in. Although the mayor does have a tendency to enjoy a couple glasses of cider; she’s a good mayor overall.
The Blue Inn
The Blue Inn is a place where travelers can come when they are weary with hunger and sleep. There the kind hostess, Mrs. Clover, will let you in, and soon you will be sitting around a fire, eating hot stew. A lot of the guests that come to the castle also stay at the Blue Inn if there is no space in the castle's many (but usually full) rooms.
The Town Doctor
This little house with its pink and blue walls, its windows gazing out over the pond, is the town doctor’s home. There she lives with her granddaughter and cat, working hard, caring for sick elves and animals, and baking delicious pies.
The Wizard's house
Here one of the wizards lives, by the name of Ross. There are always some kind of strange fumes and purple clouds surrounding his house.
A glimpse of the castle at night
When all eyes are asleep.
The Market
The market is owned by a kind Chinese elf, here he sells the most delicious things, from bread to wine, cheese to watermelons, he has everything you need.
